Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for strategically assessing, developing, and implementing action plans for Switzerland and Austria (CH-AT) to align Company with key payors.
- Execute strategic plans with strong focus on achievement of business objectives
- Provide total account management with a focus on negotiation at the executive level and building a business partner relationship.
- Implement payor push through programs to increase reimbursement and drive adoption of CGM.
- Achieve access and profitability goals in CH-AT
- Set collaborative strategic and tactical plans directed at achieving these goals.
- Lead contracting efforts in CH-AT through prospecting, credentialing, and negotiation of pricing and terms.
- Lead national payor relationships in CH-AT.
- Ensure accurate and complete contract implementation internally and externally.
- Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with other Company departments incl. Field and Inside Sales, Operations, Marketing, Legal and others
- Coordinate with Field Sales Teams for pull through activities
- Maintain current account files and other records with respect to current and prospective customers in accordance with Company instructions and requirements.
- Comply with all Company policies as well as other Company policies which may be implemented from time to time.
- Through personal business development activities and coordination with other sales channels within Dexcom, identify opportunities to engage organizations by assisting with their national managed care contracting.
- Local and overnight travel (up to 40%).
- This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
- Proven experience calling on / visiting health insurance providers in CH-AT for the purpose of achieving reimbursement coverage.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8-10 years of related experience in Market Access function in CH-AT. At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
- Proven experience calling on / visiting health insurance companies for the purpose of negotiating and obtaining contracts for reimbursement coverage.
Experience and Education Requirements:- Experience in a Market Access, Health Economics or Pricing & Reimbursement related function in a MedTech company preferred
- Existing relationship with payers and statutory health insurance in Switzerland and Austria preferred
- Experience in Diabetes care preferred
- Preferred educational background: Business, Economics, Healthcare, Medical, Pharma, Law
Travel Required:Language Skills:Must be able to communicate effectively in English and German. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Additionally, French language skills preferred.
