Job Description:Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.

Head of Product Management & Marketing. In this role you are responsible for Product Management, Installed Base Management, Marketing and Pricing for a sizeable and fast-growing Service Business. You will actively support Product Management and drive initiatives to bring Installed Base Management and Pricing to the next level together with your team. You have a proven track record in product management, leadership and a solid understanding of a Service business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills.
Your responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop the team, consisting of two Product Managers, an Installed Base & Marketing Manager and a Pricing Manager, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and results delivery
- Develop and execute the product strategy together with the team in alignment with the company's vision and strategic plans
- Define product roadmaps and prioritize developments based on customer feedback, business needs and goals
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and functions, such as Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Operations, to ensure successful implementation of new products and service solutions
- Support Product Management - in particular for GIS, and drive solution concepts for Installed Base Management and Pricing for the Maintenance business together with the team
- Monitor product performance and gather insights to drive continuous improvements
- Represent the function in Management Team meetings and provide regular updates on product performance and progress of initiatives
Your background- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing or engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in product management, business development, sales a/o a related role, ideally with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of Service business and product management; experience in installed base management and value-based pricing of advantage. Knowhow of GIS technology of advantage
- Strong analytical, conceptual and interpersonal skills, very structured in the way of working
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP (S/4 HANA) and CRM software (Salesforce.com) of advantage
- Proficiency in English. German language skills are an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
