As Portfolio Manager, you are responsible to ensure a competitive product pipeline and portfolio for Sandoz Switzerland, both by choosing the right products to launch and simplifying the portfolio where needed.
Major Accountabilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- In close collaboration with commercial functions (marketing & sales) analyze potential portfolio opportunities (new products) and develop business cases for Regional Portfolio Team and the local Leadership Team as needed.
- In close collaboration with commercial, regulatory, legal and finance functions, identify early launch opportunities.
- Organize monthly Portfolio Meetings with the aim to gain a final decision of Leadership Team on identified portfolio and early launch opportunities
- Ensure fast and effective transfer of identified and approved portfolio and early launch opportunities to Regulatory Affairs and Launch Management for further execution
- Lead life cycle management of existing portfolio, including evaluation and coordination of pruning activities, portfolio simplification and harmonization initiatives and local M&A integration lead
- Establish competitive intelligence, e.g. close tracking of marketing authorizations granted to competitors
What you'll bring to the role:Essential Requirements- MSc or PhD in scientific discipline,
- English(fluent), either German or French (desirable)
- Experience in market analysis and business case evaluation in the pharmaceutical industry is required
- Experience in pre-launch and portfolio forecasting strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects on different timelines
- Enthusiastic collaborator, gathering stakeholder input and shepherding projects to fruition
- Able to both see the full picture and dive into the details
