Your role
• Development, integration, testing and support with the requirement collection as well as documentation of the frontend solution in cooperation with all involved departments (business & IT) and consultant of the product owner in the agile pod
• Application responsibility and subject-matter expert for frontend solutions/components as well as lifecycle support (incl. 3rd level support) after go live and expediting improvements regarding performance, debugging and maintainability of the existing code by using contemporary best practices
• Evaluation or creation of different solution approaches, executing code peer reviews and managing content coordination of cross-pod topics
• Support the design and implementation of standards in the field of frontend development
Your team
The API & Workflow Engineering chapter is part of the IT Client Solutions department. As pod members within the Crew Client Solutions, the Agile Delivery Organization of the UCC, our developers use their skills in a customer- and result-oriented manner to design, support and further develop modern and scalable products within the specified framework of quality, compliance and security requirements (PCI DSS).
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (f/m/d) with a lot of practical experience in the design and implementation of React UIs.

Your expertise
• Degree (Bsc./Msc.) in informatics (or similar) or comparable higher education
• At least 8 years of experience in the design & development of React frontends (and patterns) and modern frontend architecture in an agile environment
• Strong skills in TypeScript, including type-level programming (Zod)
• Hands-on experience with modern state management and contemporary frontend tooling (Vite, bundlers, testing frameworks, like Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright)
• Sound understanding of functional programming and knowhow of type systems (understanding Hindley-Milner is a plus)
• Strong sense of quality and responsibility, proactive self-management, good communication skills and a growth mindset
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and good knowledge of German (spoken and written)
