Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with local tax laws across EMEA countries, with a particular focus on Germany.
Prepare and provide necessary documentation to external tax consultants.
Prepare and review tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and ensure compliance with international tax standards.
Work with finance and accounting teams to plan cash taxes and ensure timely payments.
Collaborate with global tax and finance teams on different projects.
Partner with the EMEA accounting team to streamline tax processes and enhance data accuracy.
Coordinate and support in tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Analyze and evaluate tax audit impacts to tax positions.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company's operations.
Work closely with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure alignment on tax-related matters and support business initiatives.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve tax processes and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience, working within a Big Four firm is beneficial.
German tax background, German tax advisor exam (Steuerberater) is beneficial.
Strong accounting skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in SAP R3.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on mentality, with a proactive approach to managing tasks and projects.
Proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables, large data sets etc.
Languages: German (fluent) / English (fluent).
