Takeda EUCAN is seeking an accomplished and agile Senior Manager EUCAN Value and Access Global Oncology to partner with our Patients Value and Access (PVA) team and help bring groundbreaking hematology treatments to patients across the region. This exciting opportunity places you at the heart of access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies for hematology assets, where your contributions will have a direct impact on enhancing patient access in diverse markets.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Execution & Collaboration
- Collaborate with the EUCAN and global Hematological Malignancies PVA team to deliver pricing and reimbursement strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive adaptation and implementation of value-driving tools like dossiers, objection handlers, and economic models to achieve sustainable access across the EUCAN region.
Pioneering Joint HTA Initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, execute, and refine joint Health Technology Assessments (HTAs), ensuring country readiness and alignment with EUCAN strategies.
Insightful Engagement
- Generate transformative payer and market insights through advisory boards, research, and scientific advice to inform HTA strategies and maximize value delivery for hematology assets.
Global-Regional Partnership
- Bridge regional and global strategies while facilitating country-level input into R&D plans, evidence generation, and access strategies, ensuring alignment and readiness.
Launch Readiness & Excellence
- Work with the EUCAN cross-functional team to deliver world-class launch readiness, including stakeholder engagement, training workshops, and negotiation simulations.
Data-Driven Pricing Governance
- Support business case development and data sharing to secure approvals for regional and global pricing and reimbursement decisions.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- A bachelor’s degree or higher and 4+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, biopharma, or related industries.
- Expertise in health economics, pricing, health policy, or international affairs, with a strong grasp of the EUCAN payer and HTA landscape, including joint HTA trends and reimbursement processes in key markets like NICE, IQWiG, and HAS.
- Knowledge of pricing tools and methodologies, payer research, and cost-effectiveness strategies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in Oncology or hematology domains.
- Advanced degrees such as PhD, MPH, MPP, or MBA, reflecting a deeper understanding of healthcare strategy and policy.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- 10% of domestic and/or international travel required.
